That's it! I'm confuzzled!

Okay ....

Maybe someone can shed some light on this?

I offer a course right now as a WSO - not much, only 7$ - but still, people pay to be part of it. So far, I'm sure you're with me, and might start thinking this is self promotion.

But you're wrong (about the self-promotion part, please stay with me)!

Upon joining I redirect everyone to a signup page for updates on the course.

Yesterday I sent a broadcast letting everyone know that I will start publishing content this week, and that they should expect another e-mail from me around wednesday with their access details.

This morning I check my Aweber stats ... and one person UNSUBSCRIBED from the list ?!?
I'm conffuzled. Don't people even want to get the products they pay for anymore?
Anybody else willing to give me their hard earned money?

My analytic mind is running into loops right now.
Help?!?

I'd suspect that person got confuzzled themselves. We're used to being sold to and they probably couldn't remember signing up and paying. I've had people sign up, only to report an email as spam hours later.

It's amazing how little our tiny minds can hold and I raise my hand as being one of them at times!

Confuzzled - love it - haven't heard that word in years!

Apparently, they just want you to take the $7 and that be the end of it.

    So be it.

If your list is big, promote something else to them and see what happens. Better yet, send them something free for being a purchaser. Later - offer them another deal.

    Luck to you,

Perhaps people don't want to be forced to sign up for "update" lists (or any lists) in order to get what they already paid for.

If I understood you wrong, and they already got what they paid for and your list was truly just for updates, then that's their decision if they don't want to recieve updates.

      Lance,

I understand where you're coming from with this and really hate forced optins as well when it comes to downloading a product I paid for, but now come on...

The WSO clearly advertises it as a 6 week coaching to be launched after the holidays, so there's no "forced optin to receive your product".

To me it's rather clear that if you want to be part of a 6 week coaching, there better be a communication channel setup between you and the person providing the service ...

But then again, that's just me, and I have been wrong before ....

      Once or twice ...

Alexandre, I didn't read your WSO.

        I didn't think I needed to. Remember...This thread isn't self promotion.

When you said "course" I assumed it was a downloadable product.

Now that I understand what you're offering...yes it's a little confusing that someone would opt out.
