Playing Nasty in IM ? is it fair ?

hi everyone,

I am annoyed of my competitor playing nasty toward me, I am trying to play by the roles, but for the last month my competitors have been trying to play nasty stealing sellers & buyers from my website after spending hundreds on advertising.

I already back into the game to stop them (new spam filters saving me a lot of time and money), but they don't give up.

I know how to play dirty, I just don't like to get it that way but my question if you competitors are playing nasty ? would it be fair to get back on them the same way ?

what do you think ?

      They sign up for the website, and start contacting my members and giving them offers to buy or sell on their websites. (my website is marketplace for jobs).

    Yeah if you could go into detail how they're playing "dirty" then we could shed a little more light on it.

      I am not concerned about my buyers, I know no one out there offer half what i do, but as far as sellers, that is hard to control.

      I already installed new spam filter to ban them, but i think defense is not enough solution when you can simply hit them where it hurt

    I only go so far as to stop them from messing with my business. Then, once I've done that, I'd rather focus on increasing my business than going out and spending time getting revenge when I could be spending that time making more money, which frankly is the best revenge.

      Sounds like you've built a site like a forum or membership site that has social media aspects. Sorry, it's on you for not monitoring them. Make it a pay site that charges a $1 a month. Moderate posts and get them off there. Make it so members have to pay a special access fee to contact one another. Sounds like you left the barn door open and got mad when you saw a skunk in the hen house.
