Whats your favorite paid traffic sources/methods?

Hello everyone,

First let me share mines

My fav so far in terms of conversion would be as follows:

1- ppv

2-Solo Ads

3-Banner Buys

4- paper ads.

5-eBay

Now recently I have been experimenting with ppc NO NOT Google lol,but MSN Ad Center

No results so far ...zero.Nada

Just wanted the paid traffic sources that you prefer.

P.S.

The only success I have seen was through paid traffic at least for my self.

Get something that converts well " easy" send Targeted traffic then profit.

Offcourse what converts for you might not convert for me.

There are many variations and elements to be put into consideration.

Niche,demographics,Business model etc..

But feel free to share.

Kal.

MSN Ad Center works well for me.

There are certain things that I adjusted:

    Under Adgroup settings:

    Search network
    Enable:
    Only Bing and Yahoo! websites

    Disable:
    Content network

The syndicated search partners and the Content network are of rather questionable quality.

The syndicated partners traffic is often generated by feeds that get their traffic from PPV networks. That might be fine if you target low end freebie seekers but if you try to sell stuff or reach the higher income brackets you might find that traffic less valuable.

If you only select Bing and Yahoo search engine traffic you are going to be pleased with the quality.

    HP
    Signature

Call Center Fuel - High Volume Data
Delivering the highest quality leads in virtually all consumer verticals.

Very informative indeed highly appertiate your insights.will try and see.

Yes you are very true about the quality traffic that MSN could bring.

But like anything new,one has to learn and do their homework

Whenever I can actually land one of my sites in the "home jobs" and "make money online" type of keywords on Adwords, I make a killing. Very little competition, and CPC is low considering the amount of traffic.

You find little competition with low cpc on Adwords for the keywords:

"Make money online" &"home jobs". Interesting.

The secret with good PPC is 1 keyword, 1 group. Split test everything, and maximize ROI.

Same for any media buy or paid traffic. Take a look at this tool:
Free PPC Affiliate Tracking Software | Tracking202

We use this for tracking all media buys, PPV, PPC etc. Split testing, tracking and number crunching are the name of the game when buying traffic. Without detailed stats you can lose your shirt.

Also, start small, reinvest profits and scale up. It's the huge media buys that generate the most returns and you can get serious discounts when you have a lot to invest.

Also, never forget that Facebook ads are very cheap right now and even Youtube Featured Videos (one area we are spending a lot of money)

    All the best

    Sean

PPC has always done well for me. Also a well written solo ad to a targeted group will do well.

Never be afraid to try new methods.

PPC is good if you know what you are doing!

But I find the better thing to do is go on a media buying spree.

i.e. go to google and type the keywords that your buyers are typing, and click on the PR1 and PR2 websites and see if you can work out a deal to put a nice banner or jpg ad there for a good price.

IMHO you cant get much more targeted than this. And you can start out small scale and then when you find something that works, go nuts and upscale it to the power of 10.

We have a silly little niche with about 13 ads on different sites. It costs about $1000 bucks a month for those ads, but we bring in about $4500 without fail.

$3500 profit a month without doing anything and all automated profits now. Cha Ching! Baby!.

And I totally believe you. It took my awhile to get to this level though.

Get something that really converts then start sending traffic to it.

Take the time and EFFORT and MASTER the conversion part then simply

      buy some traffic.

If your not making money its because you are not converting!

There is real power in this.

When i first started and had no list and nothing behind me. I would always go to where the traffic was, or to people who had gigantic lists and tried to snap up a deal

This is all we are doing.

Infact If I was broke newbie off the street i could get back to where I am now in a few months. i would just leverage off people who had the traffic and who have done the hard work.

I still use these tactics to find fast healthy high targeted traffic today.

Its all about LEVERAGE.... use the people in a high power role and offer to help them, or offer a bit of money. If they have big list, then see if you can use that.

This is the fastest way to go from 0$ to say $3000 a month. Remember making money online is not about working harder, its all about working SMARTER and using leverage like I said. You will see real breakthroughs when you realise this. But once you experience the results and have a nice offer and a website that converts...holy smoke...is all I can say!.

There are two keys to making paid traffic work.

Sean gave one of them - you have to watch your numbers and work to improve them.

The other is selecting your targets, especially with PPC.

I would never blindly rely on the content networks with more than a small percentage of my spend there. And that only to see if I could uncover specific sites and even pages that convert for me. Once uncovered, site and page targeting will put your ads in front of the people who are most likely to respond to them.

The thing that really derailed the Adsense gravy train was giving advertisers the ability to separate their search campaigns and their content network campaigns, and price them differently. All the MFA site builders and other cheats did was pile enough logs on the track to draw attention to the hazard.
