Seen an ad on Monster.com for making money with Hubpages

Hubpages has an ad on monster.com. They are looking for people to write quality content or hubs. They claim that many people are making money by doing this, only writing 3 hubs a week and using amazon and ebay ads. What do you think, is this possible? Is there anyone making money using hubpages?

        Yes,
Hubpages is a reputated brand and many people really make money writing on hubpages. If you do read their TOS a bit carefully and maintain consistency by writing good contents you can definitely earn through hubpages....and who said hubpages is anyone....Hubpages is very reputated like squidoo, about.com and those.

        thnx

It would not be characteristic of Hubpages to place such an ad on Monster.com looking for people to "write quality content" ... "using amazon and ebay ads". Both caveat lector and caveat emptor apply very strongly here.

I've just kicked up a bit of Hubpages writing but it hasn't made much at all at this time but I'm not looking at it as a main source of income; I mostly use it to write content that's always been on my mind but never really had a place for it to fit such as "top mmorpg's" and video game related stuff - definitely won't fit on my business blog - I just love to write so I needed an outlet. If it makes money, that's fine but I wouldn't count on it as a big earner unless you're ready to put A LOT of time into creating A TON of articles.
