Suggested Plugins for....

For tweet/like/share I just found a plugin called digg digg, it will create a floating bar on the left side of your blog. I like how it looks you might want to check it out.

For comments i'd recomment disqus or livefyre - they give the most functionality and are the most social, intensedebate is pretty good too.

For avoiding spam - use akismet if it's a personal site, math comment spam protection is pretty effective too

For SEO i'd recommend SEO Ultimate, I tried all in one SEO and platinum SEO, but SEO Ultimate has way more features, 404 notifiers and other stuff too

For tweet this links i'd go with digg digg like spinner suggested, you can add all the major social sharing buttons, you can put them above, below or even in a floating bar on the left or right hand side, it supports different tweet buttons like tweetmeme and topsy as well as the official twitter button - and also different button sizes and manual placement. Socialize is another good one, or you can go with ones that have analytics like addthis or sharethis, but i'd personally go with Digg Digg because of it's functionality .

For hiding your affiliate links, SEO Ultimate has a feature for this but you have to add the links in a page or a post first .. best thing would be to try pretty link light ... these will only mask them, so the affiliate link will be visible for a brief moment after the user clicks on it .. there is a pro version of pretty link that completely cloaks the links but I would recommend against link cloaking if possible.

I finally moved my personal blog to wordpress, and am having my coaching site built there too.

Will you help me with suggesting some plugins for:

comments: someone suggested disqus or commentluv

A comment plugin in unnecessary and increases site loading time.

avoiding spam: wp-spam free

SEO: all in one seo was suggested

putting the tweet this/ like this / etc: wp socializer

hiding my affiliate links: no suggestions so far

I'd keep my plugins to necessary plugins as they increase the loading time of your site.



Also, are there other plugins I should consider for both my personal and business blog?

Broken link checker
Google xml sitemap
platinum seo pack
wordpress.com stats
sharebar - for adding twitter, facebook, google +1, digg, reddit
wordpress database backup.
