I'm totally noob this issue. Maybe I was asking wrong question
What are "subscribers"? I see that there are charges for subscribers? What is the differenc between subscribers and "emails I actually send to my list.
    Are there any free programs?
What is the difference in their "mail service" settings, I mean maybe they are blocked by default.
Any out of scope information would be appreciated.

For a free service, try List Wire. I have no first-hand experience with it, but here's the website for you to check out ==> List Wire.

Thank you guys for such fast response!

      And what is actually "subscribers"?
I presume the prosess should be easy - I send emails from "me" to "potential client". So if client is interested he reponses me. But still what is subscriber anyway?

Okay so you have an email list, and you know nothing about autoresponders, subscribers, and optins.

Something tells me you gained access to this list unethically.

ramone_johnny, video was fun, the same as statement about unethical gaining of my list.
But thx for usefull words to google "autoresponders, subscribers, and optins"

Still technically don't understand how actually "recipient" becomes a "subscriber".

But he is right, if you don't know about this stuff to much, than there comes a question, how did you build the list?

I am not saying that you are a spammer, but just this is not a simple thing to build a big list. Tens of thousands of people try to build a list every day.

I guess since you still dont know....I will tell you.

The REAL way to get an email list is to get people to "subscribe" to your list by signing up to it and then they are a "subscriber".

The list you have is most likely bought and could be considered spamming if you email them with stuff they didn't "subscribe" to.

Hope this helps clarify for you.

Email marketing is a good form of SEO provided it is done without the intention of spamming. Therefore it is better to provide the opt-out list to the recipient.

Google is brilliant when you know what to search (thanx to everyone who answered)...
...what I found that there is a strong anti spam policy is in the air. At least for given lists of providers of services(Aweber, Getresponse, Mail Chimp, List Wire). And opt-in "feature" is very popular, becasue then providers don't feel guilty that some one gets enlargement offers, and spam policy is not triggered therefore.
So I turned to eastern providers still waiting for their replies, but so far what I have seen on their websites gives me hope that they will not disable my account if 2 of 1000 clients accasinally press "this is spam " button (was chatted with Getresponse.com and they do disable)

And finily remembered that I'm actually a programmer and asked my fellows who adviced me to create my own SMTP or use "not so smart and filtered" SMTP.
Now downloading .Net studio 2005 and will try simply send emails from none google/yahoo SMTP and see what's happens next.

    Deviator,
What is the source of your "email list"? If you got it from someone, you need to find out where they got it. If you can't trace it back to where it came from, DO NOT USE IT!!!
If you can trace it back to someone who has permission to contact them, you can ask them to send them a message asking for permission for you to contact them. Or, you can set up an opt-in form on your own website and have the original list owner refer the list to your form. If you don't have your own website, you can use a free site like weebly.com, but make sure you follow their terms of service.
The main thing with any email contact is to make sure you have permission from the prospect to contact the prospect. Without permission, you are a spammer, and will get blacklisted very quickly. Unwanted/ unrequested email is SPAM. DON'T DO IT!!!
Internet marketing is based on trust. Spamming violates that trust. You have to build trust by being ethical and providing real value. If you want people to join your mailing list, you are allowed to offer them an "ethical bribe" to entice them to join. By "ethical bribe" I mean something you give them free in exchange for joining your list. If you are using an autoresponder, you can make the first message a link to your "ethical bribe".
Whenever you are thinking about sending an email, ask yourself, "Would I want to receive an email like this?" If your answer is "no" don't send it.
I hope this has helped you understand internet marketing better. It takes more time to actually build a list, but by doing it the right (ethical) way, you'll reap the rewards in the long term.
    Good luck!

email lists are bought.... Subscribers have willingly "subscribed" to your email list to be sent updates/information/recommendations/etc..... That's the difference...

Subscribers are looking for your recommendations, because they see you as an expert in your field...This relationship can't be bought in an email list...

When you sign up for something online, you most likely gave your email address. The next time you get an email from them, scroll down to the bottom of the email. The popular mail services will most likely be displayed there so you can un-subscibe. The point of this task is to find a reliable mail service. Sign up with that mail service. Read the Terms of Service. They mostly come with some training on how to use their service.

    Good Luck

    @OP questions:

Subscriber: the person who joined your mailing list. If you have 2500 people there, you have 2500 subscribers

Difference between subscribers and messages: If you have 2500 people in your list and you want to send them one message a week, you will end up sending 10000 emails a month. Some emailing list services charge per message, and others charge per number of subscribers. Check what is most convenient for you.

How would I use my mailing list if I were you?: I would not try to sell it. I would not try to exchange it. I would offer companies interested in the kind of people I have there an ad in my next newsletter for a commission or fee.

    Hope this helps.

The first thing I'd suggest is to start developing a relationship with them.
How - for one thing, send out an email and actually find out who's on your list.

    What countries are they from?
    Which cities?
Are they mostly male or female?
    What's their average age?

What problems keep them up at night. If you help people find the products they need (or services) to solve their problems, they'll reward you for it.

Also, there's a lot of information out there. People don't have time to figure out what to listen to. Help them filter out the information relevant to them and they'll reward you for it!

Great advice iSoftware. How often do you recommend sending out emails (how much is too much) once a week or twice a month?

over the years doing niche marketing in serveral niches, let me say.

Your email list is the number one way to make shiploads of money.

But you have to treat them right, work hard and help these people.

if you do this you will be rewarded handsomely.

One of my students quit his job with a list of only 600 people. I thought he was yanking my chain until he showed me what he does for them. He bends over backwards, and when he promotes something makes a killing.

So you dont need a big list, you just need a list that trusts you and respects you. Do that and well....you can have anything you want in this world.

basic idea behind an email list is that people give you permission for you to mail them in exchange for answers you would provide to solve their problems

For instance , Someone would wants to lose weight bad may submit their name and email address(subscribe) to receive free weight loss information from you

I use aweber to build my list . They call services like Aweber , Autoresponder because They help you automatically sequence the emails to all the people who subscribe to receive your free information

The power of listbuilding is in the follow up and relationship

Like Celente said , If you bend over backwards and really go all out to help people when you create a product or promote an affiliate product you make more sales because they have come to expect quality in your recommendation

If you want more info about email marketing or list building ,Check out my sig . You learn how to do the right way

The most important thing is the nature of your list. It should be opt-in. The easiest way is to gain an opt-in list is by creating on OSP
