Both yesterday & today my clickbank hops have been intermittent. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

For example, hoplinks are working after about the 5th refresh, sometime's not. The account area is intermittently loading as well. I have confirmed this to happen on two different computers on two different servers about 10 miles away from each other.

This ain't good as I drove around 170 clicks through my optin funnel yesterday and got one crappy sale...very unusual....anyway, just thought I would see if anyone else is experiencing this....

Chris

P.S. Make sure you try them a couple time's....

About half an hour ago I couldn't log in to my account and none of my hoplinks were working either. You're not imagining things

At least I got the opt-in's right? This crap better be straightened out before the Autoresponder kicks in.....>:\

Yes, there is a problem. I just started another thread about it at the same time you started yours. There is no excuse for this. Google is never down. Yahoo is never down. My sites are never down.

Flood them with phone calls until they get off their a---- and get their s--- together.

Over the past several weeks I have see a lot of threads about Clickbank problems. My sales are almost non-existent anymore.

If you do a search, you will find quite a few comments about it.

    Paydotcom anyone?

Seriously, a lot of the products are very similar to Clickbank's and they seem to not have as many problems as Clickbank.

The only difference is that Clickbank is a little more user friendly.

I tired to buy an ebook a few minutes ago on Clickbank and I got this weird error message about the connection interrupted. So I went to check the order button on my own ebook on Clickbank and same crap. I've hit the order button and it just loads and loads but the order page never loads. I've rebooted thinking it was me but now I see it's on Clickbank's end.

i noticed i couldn't login earlier but the hops seem to be there and got a few sales today.
However there was a point a couple weeks ago i think when I was getting a normal amount of traffic to my pages but clickbank was registering like NO hops. I thought that was weird.

    Clickbank is definitely not dead...

Although, I have seen a group of vultures flying in circles above them over the past couple months

    Okay folks!

What's the benefits of Paydotcom over clickbank?

Does Paydotcom have more affiliates ready to promote your products?
Does Paydotcom pay your affiliates, or do you have to pay them yourself?

    Just wondering!

    Thanks for any replys.

I see a lot of people praising paydotcom but I don't think it's a good enough alternative.

Basically when you say paydotcom you are saying Paypal. Paydotcom just is a shopping cart that links to your paypal account.

Paydotcom does not pay affiliates -- you do. So that means you are going to have to pay and track every single affiliate that uses and earns from your affiliate program.

This also means you have to take care of the tax reporting and forms for paying a separate entity money.

If your an affiliate you'll have to worry if you are actually going to get paid. How many publishers that run and pay affiliate themself end up never doing it. So you have to worry about, can I trust this publisher to pay me.

If you wanna jump on the paydotcom bandwagon go ahead. But remember it will have it's own separate problems that may give you a bigger headache.

You have to pay your affiliates yourself via PayPal (unless it's changed I haven't checked recently). I'm not sure how many affiliates they have I'm sure it's not as many as Clickbank.

I've also read people complaints that affiliates are added to a mailing list. So someone wants to promote my product they sign up and now they're on their mailing list and they start receiving promotional emails and they would email and yell at me since they don't know. This is all third party info but those are the three reasons I haven't used PDC.

All of the previous reports of Clickbank's imminent demise may be greatly exaggerated, but if Clickbank doesn't

      1. Fix their problems that seem to continually haunt them...

      2. Start implementing some PR (i.e. public relations, hint, hint)

then the funeral isn't far off. Seems kind of sad for a market leader with the reputation they used to enjoy, to be going downhill like this over the past 12 months.
