Customer Relationship Management Question

Hi guys,

I am looking for help with choosing a customer relationship management system for my SEO business. Right now my company designs and builds websites for local businesses, and then does SEO for them.

What I'm looking for is a way to keep track of all our existing clients and also the many potential clients who have contacted us and whom we want to keep in touch with. I want to keep track of all the various SEO activities we do for our existing clients each month, as well as to be able to send out group emails as well as individual client emails and website ranking reports each month.

I have about 60 clients right now. My business has grown pretty organically, by word of mouth, and so I really don't have much experience with using any CRM system or software. Right now I'm getting by using Google Aps for emails and the Contact program connected to their email to keep track of my clients.

Can anyone recommend a good CRM program?

There's a couple of cloud-based ones that are based on open source.

    SugarCRM or vTiger

    I'm particularly a fan of salesforce.com.

You could always just get a copy of ACT! but it depends on your business and growth plans.

I have found Gist to be very good. The cool thing is that when I enter a new client, Gist finds all their social media feeds and their blog and connects it.

It also connects the person with the Gmail emails we have exchanged. Brilliant system. And it is free.
