Has the FTC ever come after an IMer?

I just read the new requirements on clickbank and it specifically referred to the FTC guidelines.

just wondering if this is a "real" threat and the FTC has pursued Internet Marketers before

just a curiousity.....

Just search Google News for "FTC internet marketing", there's always a few.

Do you happen to have the link? I don't sell on Clickbank but would love to read this to be sure my sites are compliant. I'm assuming Clickbank puts it in easy to understand terms unlike many FTC legal docs, so would love to be able to read it!

Any threat that involves the FTC should be perceived as 'real'.

Ya, I've heard about it few days back that you can't use the actors on video testimonials and if you do you will have to clearly state that the testimonials are from professional actors. I think, its a good move by FTC and Clickbank
