Who you are 5 years from now?

Hi Warriors, just wanna to share something with you guys.

I know about internet marketing since 2005.I know everything from Adsense,Clickbank,SEO,PPC,Affiliate,Wordpress,Joom la,CPA,Commision Junction,Amazon, and many more.

But today 2011, I still here

Yes, I make money now,but not enough to quit my job and going full time in IM....6 years is a long time IF I FOCUS and master in one field only....For sure I already a millionaire now....

But,the truth is,im no going anywhere, still stuck in 9-5 jobs..Still in the "rat race".....

2 lesson that I learnt:

1.Focus until you achieved certain level that you satisfy
2.Dont mix between your personal money and business money

If you make $3k this month, and using $2900 for your own purpose or to make a living, believe me,you are going nowhere. You cannot expand your business to the next level and will trap in the rat race.Yes,you make money, but are just "a survivor" not an entrepreneur.

But if you separate between your personal money and business money, you will see the difference in short of time.

Focus until you become expert in the your niche.

Regards

This again made me laugh - not for what you wrote but for the fact it says "BANNED" right next to your name. The sheer excellent irony of it has made my night complete

Personally I've been thinking about where I'll be in 5 years time and it is leading me to go down a different path. I was already a full time IMer but I'm changing directions within the industry, and so far it looks like my new direction is more profitable. Either way though, whether you are building the future you want is something that everyone should think about once in a while.

IMO, the proverb has a deep meaning. I don't think it is intended to mean eat up all the food in the house by the end of the day or have no plan for the future ... etc but to reminds us not to worry too much.

This quote is very true and inspiring although it's not easy to follow the same path. I wish to become billionaire 5 years from now. I wish i have started IM sooner. Perfection and afraid to take action are the biggest enemy to success, that is what i learn.

Thanks a lo for sharing this. I never realized how essential it is to establish patience within the IM niche. Your post/thread really got me thinking. If people could expand the duration of time that they think/wait in terms of mastering a subject, then they could be successful in it. I'm going to keep your message around me and probably share it to my list so they cn learn from you, cause I know I just did.

What I think you should do s. miller is find a coach in the warrior forum and have them guide you until you're making the amount of money you want to make. What better way to learn how to make money online then following a live human being who is actually doing so. You should be careful so your mistakes don't become subconscious, it's hard to break out of that stuff when you do it repeatedly over the years...

Five years from now I'll have contracted to build a super plane what will allow me to travel in space. So I'll probably be sitting by the pilot tapping out posts on a laptop that accesses bandwidth that's bounced off the moon.

Hey, BTW, your English is good. Here's a tip that will improve your writing a lot. Hit the space bar after using a punctuation mark like a comma or period. Do that and you're going to notice a BIG improvement in the way you communicate. Good luck.

Well, if you're 6-7 years in the business and are not making a full time income than you've to ask yourself some serious questions.

Do you treat your business as an occupation or profession? BIG DIFFERENCE.

Even if you only had 1-2 hours to invest everyday for 6 years, you should be making at least a couple thousand a month.

If you are not making enough money to live full time in your country, you might want to consider living somewhere in SE Asia or a different area where the cost of living is cheaper.

Many online marketers or poker players do that or did that to leverage their money more efficiently. That's a great way to move up the ladder.

You should also reevaluate your entire business approach to see where your leaks are. Might be best for you to get some consulting from a successful marketer in your niche.

Exactly my reason for leaving for Asia. I had quit my full-time job and wanted to experience something new, learn a new language, and devote a few years to IM to see what I had in me while being able to invest a lot of my prior earnings into learning this business inside and out. You will, very soon, be able to support yourself in IM out here and then, with the savings that you make out here, you can re-invest into future learning / website creation.

Regarding the question -- I'd like to be known as one of the most trusted and valued internet marketers online in 5 years. Maybe not the richest, but one that people turn to for honest information.

My advice -- Focus on one project at a time. Give it your all. Most people give 1% to 100 different tasks. Instead, focus 100% on one project at a time. Don't get distracted by distractions. Focus. Outline your goal for each project and work until that project is complete. It wasn't until I fully focused on accomplishing a goal before moving onto the next goal that I started to really see nice profits.

I want to be happy. I don't know how much time it will take. May be tomorrow or in five years. But I am definitely trying to be the most happiest and satisfied person.

To success any online business, you need to:

    1. focus one online business model (you can choose one as your core business)
    2. persistent until you see the result
    3. set big goals for the next 5 years
