I am fairly new to IM compared to most of you and have done the highly recommended steps that everyone...recommends. Except for one. Tracking everything.

Now I'm calming down since the excitement of getting almost daily sales, I realise that I don't even know where the sales are coming from.

I have to track sack and crack everything now

I use Aweber for my lists, and WP probably tracks my affiliate links if I find out how.

How does everyone know where their sales are coming from?

  • If you got clickbank, than you can exactly see where your buyers are comeing from.

      How about other affiliate products, do you generally track using the affiliate seller's reports?
  • Whatever can help you monitor your sales. I have my own tracking setup through my autoresponders another tracking setup in my wp software plus I also have a cloak account just to cover each other in case a glitch happens with one or the other, & of course I check my affiliate reports.

    I mostly have all this to cover each one so I can always be up to date with my tracking but having multiple tracking doesn't hurt. Just try to have a primary that you monitor.

  • I've not done this but eventually I think it's a good idea to invest in a paid-for link tracker. Still not done the full-research but from what I can gather you'll be able to track which links get clicks and which actually get the sales.

    I've had a few problems with the Clickbank ID... sometimes the link seems very slow to load and that kinda worries me.

    Wonder if anyone else has the same issue?

  • The best tracking software out there is hypertracker.com.

    Not tracking your traffic is flying blind, how would you know where to concentrate your effort, which marketing campaign is working?

    Everyone should do it so you can cut your loss and focus your time

  • Hypertracker is excellent and easy to use. Google Analytics is free and will track, but not as easy to use as Hypertracker.
