Hollywood-style marketing, the next level...

7 replies
Hi guys, I couldn't help but notice Click Conspiracy sent in my inbox today sent by fellow Tim Atkinson. After Anik Singal's Commisson domination, that seems to me the next level of Hollywood style video marketing. I am now waiting for Optimus Prime to pop in my email inbox and recommend me an IM product that he endorses... An product coming from another galaxy that will change human history of IM.

PS. The ClickConspiracy has a nasty exit popup in FireFox that i could barely close. They should upsell the program able to close it.

    Yeah what's up with all these movie-style landing pages? It's really getting ridiculous with these offers. Instant turn-off for me, but I assume it's working if it's getting more popular. You'd have to assume these high-profile "gurus" do a fair amount of testing.

      Call me a skepchick but I don't assume that at all. I strongly suspect that many of them just copy their perception of "what everyone is doing" simply assuming that "it must have been tested". And if they tell me themselves that they're "gurus", then I suspect that even more strongly. :p

  • I guess that crap works for total naive newbies (their intended market). For me, they're a total turn off.

    Thats interesting.I think this style of marketing will have more success on consumers overall perceptions regarding a product or service although I am in full doubt about the marketing source.

    * Got email from respectable WF member with bonus for trying clickconspiracy:

    "Not a bad deal, 60 day guarantee and a freebie just for trying it out!"

    In addition in the email:

    "There are 3 main sections in clickconspiracy and each one has

    - Plugins,
    - software,
    - video training and more....there really is too much stuff here to list."

    - Interesting ...

    * Opened a site, as usually a long presentation with cars - I need a money printing soft - not wast time to watch cars.

    * Closed a site, as usually a pop-up suggested a freebie:

    "FREE! "You Just Won My $197 - 'Easy Cash Scraper' Software System "

    * Inserted email - it was 12 h ago.

    * No any 'Easy Cash Scraper' Software System in my email box TILL NOW.

    * I suppose that it is due prelaunch period just now - Tim Atkinson is in a hurry and does not install all his soft properly.

    * Later - about 1 week later - I plan to get clickconspiracy for $27 - this thing became available when I watched a video after first time Closing a site.
    For 1 week Tim Atkinson will set all things and I will not wast a time on his bugs.
