Can google do this?

Hey there, I want to know is it possible to enter a picture of a product in google and find how many similar product are there selling online, i.e. how many people are selling the same thing, or from which site the picture was actually taken?

My understanding is Google (or any search engine for the matter) cannot 'see' pictures, only the picture's TAGS. So, I don't imagine they can tell how many there are online....or are you talking about entering the NAME of the picture?

I've been wishing that you could search by inputing your image and finding out what it was. Such as a flower type, tree etc.

Probably would take way too much resources, but would be neat.

It is only possible when you know about the exact place of picture then you can find other wise not.
