    Hi Cheree,

Theres a website that I've used before called MindTools. It has mind mapping in there with examples and there are other brainstorming excercises as well. They do have a "paid" option but I have only used the free option and it's come in handy.

    Good luck to ya!

    Hi,

To answer your question on how to make a mindmap.

I personally like to think of mindmaps like telling a story.

For each story there is, firstly and index, then an introduction, then the main body of the story and finally, a conclusion.

You do, however, need to know where you are going, in other words, what it is you are portraying, or putting across to others, as would an author of a book. What the mindmap will do for you though, will give you a clearer direction on where you are going and, of course, how to get there.

I use the program "FreeMind" for my mindmapping use. It's an excellent program, what's more the download is free!

    Here is the link freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Download

    I hope this helps.

    Regards Trevor.
