So, I'm about crack on with adding content to my Website but I've ran into a wall with the Menu.

As you can see on my Website, I have a menu such as: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC etc.

However, I'm trying to make so that I have dropdown menus for each of them for e.g.

I have a Drop Down Menu widget, but I couldn't grasp it. So my friend tried, and it messed up the whole header. I'm not sure if it's a poorly structured theme or not.

Also, once I've got that sorted, I'd like to get rid of the Categories box on the righ hand side. That would be pretty pointless if I have the categories in the menu right?

I'd like to be able to make 'posts' but have the option to put it into a menu, and not a category.

I hope this makes any sense, any help would be appreciated.

    Simple question (that will give you the answer): when you go to wp-admin > Appearance subpanel - do you see underneath an option Menus?
    If yes, click on it. Does it say that you have one or more Menus... or it says: "The current theme does not natively support menus... etc"?

    If the theme has the custom menu option - you just need to learn to use it (read the documentation in the WP codex)... because everything you said can be done easily.

    It in the features list it mentions "Easy Drag and Drop Menu" - which is wher you create your own - so yes - it can be done if you look at the Live Demo page - My Blog

    What Istvan says will help you; you need to create your own custom menu with this theme.
