trafficexcess.com pay per banner clicks?

Anyone used this site: Banner Advertising. Pay only for people who click on your banner

I do media buys and came across this site and obviosuly my first impression is that it is a scam and it gets clicks but rarely a conversion.

I can't find many reviews on it but what do you guys think?

It says you can target a catagory and it will put your banner on a site and you pay by clicks...hmm

Trust is an important factor when paying CPC, I didn't dig in enough to see if they offer geo targeting or if you have to accept all comers.

I did notice their traffic offers apparently use Adware to popup window on searches.

TRAFFIC EXCESS BUSINESS IS A SCAM!

I would like to submit this report and warn others so they don't get scammed by this company like it happened to me.

By the way, before I start, as far as I know they use the following websites www.trafficexcess.com , www.rotateonline.com and www.itotalfind.com to scam the people, but they might have other websites that I'm not aware of yet.

I'm just a consumer who ordered and paid $229.00 for services that I did not receive. This happened on June 28 2013. I assumed that I have rights to get what I paid for. And when I complained about services and asked fro my money back I end up being a bad guy and I was accused of committing a fraud? This business is a joke! What about my consumer rights? Do I have any rights as a consumer? Do I have the right to get something in return for my money?

I ordered advertising campaign where I suppose to receive targeted traffic visitors to my websites. Traffic Excess charged my credit card immediately trough the Amazon Payments, but it took them almost 2 weeks before they even started my campaign. The excuse was that they don't work weekends, they don't work holydays, etc... Once the campaign finally started, I realized I'm not getting what I paid for. I suppose to receive targeted visitors to my websites, but I was not receiving any visitors at all. According to Traffic Excess hit counter I received in few days about 28,000 visitors, but counters on my websites didn't register any visitors, and my Google Analytics counters didn't register any hits either. I don't believe 12 different counters that I use on of my 12 websites plus the Goggle Analytics counter can all be wrong, and only the Traffic Excess counter is the one that is "right"?!

I tried to contact Traffic Excess asking about services I suppose to receive, because I was not getting what I suppose to get, and I wanted to clear the confusion. They failed to respond to my communication attempts and simply ignored me for a few days, even considering it was during the business days in the middle of the week. Considering the facts that I was not getting what I paid for and that they are ignoring my communication attempts, I assumed all this must be a scam. So, I contacted Amazon Payments and filed complaint against Traffic Excess. After Amazon Payments notified the Traffic Excess about my complaint, the person from Traffic Excess sent me an email and than called my by phone on SUNDAY morning, and that's kind a strange for company that says THEY DON'T WORK over the weekend...

Anyway, in phone conversation the person who called me didn't let me talk at all, didn't let me explain a thing, he didn't even try to hear what I have to say, and he just kept talking over my voice and tried to be louder than me, telling me that there is nothing wrong with their service. Than he got mad at me and hang up on me. Later on that same day on SUNDAY I received an email from him, threatening me with following:

He threatened that if I don't cancel my complaint with Amazon Payments he will sue me on the court, and I still don't understand what did I do wrong to be sued?

Also he threatened that he will send collection agency after me, to collect his money from me. This is also strange, because he owes me money that I paid for services I never received. On what basis would collection agency go after me?

He threatened that he will report me to credit bureau. Report what? That he took my money and he didn't provide the service I paid for?

And last but not least, he threatened that he will report me as a fraud to a certain website, and that he will blacklist my name, my business and all my websites, so that in the future I can't get any advertising services for my business and my websites from any of the advertising companies out there. I actually got an email today from a website called Member Login and they notified me that I was "blacklisted" as a fraud by Traffic Excess. This so called Fraud Center website has no company info, no contact info, so I would assume it must be a fake website that Traffic Excess is using to intimidate consumers who complain like I did, in order for a consumer to give up and let the scammer/thief keep the money. I wouldn't be surprised...

I'm still waiting for Amazon Payments to decide about my complain and solve the dispute. I hope Amazon Payments uses common sense and they decide what is right and what is wrong. I don't know if I will get my money back, but I hope this review helps other people so they don't get scammed by Traffic Excess and their fake services.

By the way, if heir company is really so legit, and if their service is really so good, and if they are really in business for so long, than how come their Better Business Bureau rating is F which is the LOWEST it can be?!?

    Message to Keen Creations:

In last 8 months I tried 3 different companies offering targeted traffic to your websites, but each time it was waste of time and money! It simply doesn't work.

They all promise you whole bunch of targeted visitors, and at the end the result is always the same... 0 (ZERO) sales for you. No matter how many different counters you use to count the visitors on your website, your counters will always show less hits than their counters. It is very interesting to learn than all your website hit counters and Google Analytics counters are wrong and their counter is the ONLY one that counts correctly.

Different companies use different ways to scam you, and in most cases you will either receive fake hits to your site, or if they are real people than they are definitely not targeted visitors.

I've spent $229.00 at Traffic Excess and got no results. $229.00 is not much money but if I would spend that money on Google Ad Words I would probably make couple of sales and get my investment back.

Traffic Excess creates an so called "creative ad" which is basically a banner that comes out of a premade template where they just change your business name. They post this banner on a blank/empty/white webpage on their website.

According to what they say, they are sending targeted visitors to this (their) page, and these "targeted visitors" suppose to see your ad, click on it and visit your website. Their counter counts hits to their webpage where your banner is posted, but there are NO hits to your website, because NOBODY clicked and NOBODY visited your website.... probably because they are all fake hits generated by some kind of script, or something... but, their counter keeps counting... and showing you all those tens of thousands of hits that never actually reached your website.

The company I used two months ago called getpopularfast.com sent about 28,000 "TAREGETED VISITORS" to nine of my websites. My stats showing for 98% of all hits the visit duration was just a few seconds. Targeted visitor suppose to be person who previously expressed interest in your products or services... and that is the reason why is sent to your website.

I run a network of adult chat webcam sites, so you are not going to convince me that 28,000 people (targeted visitors) visited 9 of mine webcam sites, and that nobody was curious to look around, surf the site, see the naked girls and chat for FREE??? I'm not saying every visitor suppose to sign up and spend money... but if I offer FREE chat, and there is a sexy girl on the screen... don't tell me 28,000 guys WILL NOT look at her or try to chat for FREE?

The same happened 8 months ago using Revisitors, com .... I paid for 5000 visitors to my first website and the result was the same... no signups, no sales, no money...

The ONLY positive thing that comes out of all this is... even if you get a LOT of FAKE hits to your website, it still helps to bring your Alexa.com traffic rank up.... but that's about it... don't expect more. But with Traffic Excess you don't get even fake hits to your website... you get NO HITS... And all those hits to THEIR page with your banner on it, are helping THEM to get better rank on Alexa.com for THEIR website, not yours.

I don't know if there is any legit company out there that provides real visitors and real results, but I've got ripped off 3 times and that's enough for me.

I've learned one thing in life.... If I want something done right, I have to do it myself. So, I can't afford wasting my time and my money for all these fake traffic hits. I will try to get visitors to my website in a normal "organic way"... by doing my own SEO, by posting classified ads, by using social media, and my own network of sites, to cross-promote all my sites. It will take long time to see the results, but... they will be real results.

So, if you ask me... don't waste your money on this kind of services... it's not worth it.
