amember basic question before I buy

Hi everyone..this is one helpful forum.

Just a quick question. I'm wanting to start a membership, and needing a script. I'm about to purchase amember for $179 (any tips to get a better price?), but then a screen came up with amember plugins for $40 each, or more.

I'm simply wanting to install amember on my wordpress blog, and have options of onetime payment or recurrent payment plans, using clickbank or paypal.

What plugins, if any, do I need?

    I ran a membership site last year and wasted 2-3 weeks looking for an inexpensive alternative. Amember is worth it, but I advise you to get it done fast and easy - time is money, so go to membership academy - it is a great resource and not too pricey. I am not sure if it is still there, but when I got it, they had a discount to purchase amember... Give it a look, it will save you loads of time and hassle.

    As for plugins - the only one you will need is the wordpress plugin...

      Don't buy until you go to google and type:
      amember coupon
      or
      amember coupons

      I don't have time to find a coupon for you myself, but you might be able to find a coupon, just don't download anything, those are viruses.

      You could also search for:
      amember discount

      Just remember, always before you buy something, make sure you try to find coupons, I very many times find coupons.

      And if you buy stuff on places like Amazon (popular sites) , oh yeah you can get coupons!

      edit: Example, before I buy a domain name, I always search for coupons, and I many times find 1 dollar offs but yeah domains are cheap so the coupons are not big.
      But many times you can find 20 dollar coupons!

    I went to academy and registered as Freebie, as I'm still on the "trigger" and about to buy.

    Academy gives excellent video tutorials from what I see.

    Will not amember install it for you, and set up protected folders for you, within 24 hours?
