Hey WSO listers, Can I edit a WSO thread before it goes live?

I'm about to list a WSO and got my approval. But, I wanted to double check it and make sure everything was in order.

Is there a way to view it anywhere? I wrote it, checked it, and submitted it,, but the Warrior + gave me 2 buy now buttons instead of 1 scarcity button. I need to edit it. Is there a way to do so?

    Hi Robert,

I am not so sure that you can edit in the limbo zone that your WSO is currently in.

I do know that it is live the moment you pay for it.

You can edit it immediately after going live...
It shouldn't take you more than a few moments to replace the pay buttons.

Pay careful attention to how popular of a time slot you enter though...

I launched a WSO and it lasted on page 1 for almost 8 hours... It was on page 6 when I 'bumped' it back and this time it did not last 3 hours on page 1... before falling to pg2 doom! That "bump" attracted 13 people and no conversions... wast of money.

    So, again... be careful!

Hope You found this post useful.

Just launch it and make sure to reserve the next reply for FAQ. You gotta do that first or someone will beat you to it.

Then go back and change the buy buttons etc.

I launched on a Friday night at 10:32pm and still sold more than 1400 copies. Just do it! ;-)

Do you know what would be a great feature with the WSOs ...

If we were able to place or have a delay. Or even if we could keep it unlisted, but live (Like a youtube video)

So once it's approved and paid for we can then go in and ensure WSO pro button working, or paypal etc... That and also the fact that the WSO advertiser could then reserve the next post for FAQ, rather than five comments on 'dude your pay button isn't working' all taking up the first page of the thread.

It would also be a great feature if you had people who have had their review copies to go to the private unlisted thread and add in their reviews. And once your happy change it to a listed format.

Hmm, it's just a matter of seconds to implement the buy now button. If you got W+ opened and ready to go. However, scheduling a WSO launch (and thus creating buzz and getting affiliates for it is not a bad idea ;-))

Sometimes the Warriors are so fast, that by time you return from paypal ... they're already on it! they have their comments made

Does the test forum ensure that WSO pro is active as quickly as the thread going live? Plus you are not able to have others with genuine product reviews the chance to go and leave them on your thread prior to the payment queries and the 'can I have a review' that seems to have started up again! All taking up the first page with crappy comments.

If you pay the $40 and you are not doing anything underhand, you should have the chance to have a final edit and check of everything and then decide to 'go live'

In WSOPro, if you select 'auto-detect' from the dropdown menu, when the WSO goes live, the WSOPro 'buy now' button will automatically be activated for that WSO...

(there maybe a slight delay, but nothing serious)

It's a good idea to use the test forum before submitting a WSO thread: TEST FORUM

You can place everything in there including the 'Buy Now' buttons, videos, etc... then copy all the code and submit it for approval.

When it goes live, everything will be in place and formatted properly...

Mark has it! It's what I do and I'm sure many other WSO sellers do.

You can customize your thread as many times as you like until you are happy and then copy and paste it into a new thread in the WSO section before submitting it.

It's not all down to the formatting either. What about getting the chance to add in FAQs or even small alterations that you might have decided upon after you submitted it for approval. People do change their minds and may also think of something they want to add or remove.

I know you can add the FAQs to the bottom of the sales post, plus ensure paypal is all working. But once you have paid and take the time to get from paypal back over, people are already on your thread. And you know how fast this forum can be to replies and responses at times!

I usually keep 2 browser windows open... 1 for the WSO section of the forum, the other for PayPal. When the payment goes through, I hit refresh on the WSO section the click on 'advanced edit'. Paste in the code from the test forum containing any changes that where made while the thread was approved and you're good to go....

This takes only a couple seconds and since signatures are no longer allowed in the WSO section, there's not really that many people hanging around waiting for WSO's to go live so they can type in their 'this looks great!' comment...

I have learned to keep a copy of my copy in the bb code.

This can be dropped in the test forum and edited.

This way you can launch, and quickly do a copy paste on the WSO Thread.

PS: if there is no buy now button, people will need to refresh the page and this can force them to see the copy you want.
