I'm thinking about launching a cb product but I've seen post where people can't get their money until so many different credit cards buy it or something?

It is a restriction which will not let an affiliate vendor cash out before they have 5 different credit card sales on their account. I believe it is irrelevant to those who launch products on CB

5 different credit-cards, yes. (Not necessarily 5 different people). And 2 different payment methods.

It's called the "customer distribution requirement" and it exists to protect affiliates and make sure nobody can become an affiliate, buy through their own link, and earn your commission themselves and be paid it. Very important indeed to us.

    It's very clearly explained here.

I thought it was ok to purchase through your own cb link?

        It is.

But if you could do that once only and get paid (i.e. without the CDR), then what would stop anyone from following your affiliate-link to a product, getting their own affiliate-link to the product, getting paid their commission without really becoming a "working affiliate" and finding at least 4 other customers, and thus depriving you of your commission?
