Help Warriors - Paypal & Download page

Warriors,

Anyone have an easy solution to get people to a download
page immediately after Paypal pmt?

I've embedded the download page/link in paypal, but the problem
is the link that appears on the customer's/PP thank you page
is so frickin' tiny, people aren't seeing it.

I know about DL Guard, etc and the other download scripts
but prefer to use standard PP for this test we're doing.

I also use AW, and was thinking somehow to just forward
the customer's info to AW and have that autosend the link.

Anyone??

    When creating your PP button, there is an option to redirect your customers to your custom page right after payment. If you need further instructions, you can pm me.

      Hi,

      Yes it is quite simple...

      When you are finished making the first part of the button, go
      to the third option down and open it up... it will ask you for
      a successful payment URL, enter the URL there...

      On that page have a (direct) link to the download/product!

      DONE!

        Not working guys.

        Pulling my hair out on this one. I've followed everything here, and in PP.

        Under:

        1. Saved Buttons
        2. Edit Button
        3. Step 3--> Customize advanced features (optional)
        a. Take customer to a specific page (URL) after successful checkout:
        Ex: https://www.mystore.com/success

        ** I checked the box for 3a and put in my thank you page, full URL.

        b. Advanced variables
        Use a line break between the variables you enter below. These variables will be included in your button HTML code. Add advanced variables.

        I added:

        return=http://http://www.mysite.com/pre/thanks4.html
        rm=1

        ---> Also, I checked that Auto Return is turned on, with my thank you page specified, just as instructed in PP and here.

        Why is this not working!!!??

    Bluedog, I know you said you prefer to use a standard Paypal button, but if you change your mind, let me know as you may be suprised how much time and frustation you save

    Setting up Paypal products is a LOT quicker (and naturally more secure) using DLGuard than doing it straight through Paypal directly.
