CTR to Squeeze Page
After much tweaking, my squeeze page is converting really well. However I have one problem and that is I'm not getting many clicks to my squeeze page from my website. My website recieves around 100-150 UV's daily, but only 10-20 of those visitors are getting as far as my squeeze page.
At the moment I have a 700 word blog post, with 2 links to my squeeze page. One in the middle and one at the end. What's your opinion on putting link at the VERY beginning of the post? So it's pretty much first thing they see? I've thought about this a lot lately, and the only thing that worries me is the users time spent on my site. The average amount of time a visitor spends on my website will surely decrease and I wander if Google takes this into consideration (SEO Wise)?
Any thoughts opinions on this matter?
