Hotmail junks mails from my site

Hey I run a social network site where we need to push out email notifications to our users. Recently Hotmail has started to send our mails to junk. Any clues as to what I can do? All these members have asked for the emials to be sent so I can think why it is being classed as spam?

    Why don't you use gmail? IMO, it has the best spam filter technology. I use it everyday and I never had a problem with it.

      Sorry maybe I wasnt clear. I mean when I email my members of my site, any that use Hotmail get spam blocked.

        Hotmail has a habit of sending what you want to junk and junk into your inbox. Best to give whitelisting instructions to those who join up and reminders on your site.

    Patricia's suggestion is the way to go. The process to get your mail to stay in the inbox requires expensive in-house software or requires you to use 3rd party mail sending services.
