My Advise to Those Who Are Struggling...
I just wanted to get this out there as this mindset has played a big role in my success. (Im no Guru by any means but I am living the life full-time. AKA no J.O.B!)
Ok, so you're following a business model. It may be CPA, or List Building. Whatever it is, most people fail and here's the reason:
You aren't seeing fast enough results.
After a week or two of hard work you don't see an ounce of return. So what do you do?
You get attracted to the shiny WSO's and end up buying more systems.
The same thing happens more or less here, too.
Here's how to stop that.
Firstly, let me give you a scenario:
-------------------------------------------
You are the owner of an offline business in a high street. The shop isn't yet complete. In fact, you are doing the shop fitting yourself AND the stocking - the whole works. Your goal is $1000 per week from this outlet.
Who knows how long it'll take you. You'll have to work your butt off to make sure you can get the shop open so you can start making sales.
Sidenote: You know your goal is $1000 per week (or whatever you want it to be). You know what you need to do, you know what works (look at all the stores around you). You just need to take action and start fitting the shop.
At the end of week 1 you've worked, say, 40 hours. Have you made any sales? No! Because you haven't had any customers - obviously.
At the end of week 2 and 40 more hours later you still haven't made a dime.
At this point would you:
a) Give up and start a new store three doors up?
b) Carry on taking action because you know that persistence and consistent action will make sure you complete the shop so you can open for business AKA sales!
----------------------------------------------------
Of course you'll choose 'B' because you don't want to turn your back on 80 hours of work only to do it over and over for no return each time. Plus, you know darn well that one day that shop WILL make sales as soon as it's open.
So why are YOU choosing to walk away?
Ok, so I'm not saying you work 40 hours a week but what I AM trying to say is that you aren't giving your business enough time to prove itself.
You are giving something a week or two (sometimes not even that) then you are moving on because you aren't seeing results fast enough.
What you don't realise is that more often that not you are only closer than you think to success if you only give it a chance.
In my business I give an SEO campaign AT LEAST 6 WEEKS to prove itself.
I know successful people that give ANY new system AT LEAST 10 WEEKS to prove itself.
Guys, this isn't a rant. I'm trying to help you see the big picture.
If the guy above with the high street shop worked his butt off for 6 weeks on his shop he could have a 10k per month business there.
If the copped out after a fortnight he'd be dead in the water looking for the next shiny thing.
Just think about it and the next time you go to move on to the next, best WSO consider giving it a little time.
---------------------
Take Aways
---------------------
1) Find a System that is proven
2) Learn the System
3) Work the System for at least a month
4) Monitor results and scale accordingly
5) Rinse and Repeat
Give Success A Chance!
