Creating EPIC Content Really Works!!!!

I just want to share my experience with a little SEO test I did the last few days. I have a blog in a niche (outside IM) that was getting around 50-70 visits per day in the last few months.
So I decided to create an EPIC post. I chose a keyword for the post and used it as the title or headline. Then I wrote like 6K words on the topic! A really big and detailed guide, very high quality content.
Since I published the guide like a week ago, my traffic from SEO is increasing a lot. I now rank in first page for that keyword (my homepage, not the guide, which is weird) and receive a lot of visits from people searching that specific keyword.
This past days I got more than 130 visits per day. Yesterday I had 178 and I just checked Google Analytics for today and have 233!
I know these are not impressive numbers for a lot of experienced marketers, but for me is a big improvement and a prove that creating high quality content really works. I even made some affiliate sales from clickbank today!
Obviously I wont post 6k-word articles all the time, but this SEO experiment looks like its working very good.
