INTERNET MARKETING

Time Magazine just published a list of their choices for the best websites of 2011.

The 50 Best Websites of 2011 - TIME

They have divided them into categories, of particular interest to many IMers will be the Social Media and also their Best Blogs list (Best iPhone Apps is also of interest).

Of course this list is just the opinion of the staff at Time Magazine, but they may provide food for thought for those of you about to build the next Twitter or Facebook!

  It's already out! At least a lot of people are predicting Google+ is going to be the Facebook killer. It'll definitely give 'em a run for their money

I'm going through the list of 25 blogs and I'm amazed by not only how polished these blogs are but how out of the loop I am since I've never heard of a lot of these blogs....Have you guys visited any of those blogs regularly?

  Reminds me, one my my sites (the best one I have till date - the first ever I had designed before I had even known IM - a world class site hosting public domain classic literature) had made it to the top-50 across all categories in 2009 in a University study review.
  
  That had been a GREAT feeling, considering that Google and Myspace and a few of the likes were also in that short list of 50 along with me.
