Hi, I'm Chris, and I have shiny object syndrom. Two years ago, I made $36,000 in 3 weeks with Google Adwords and CPA marketing, and ever since that run I have been looking for another quick fix, shiny object, etc.

I haven't made another dime in two years, because I keep avoiding building a list, creating an audience, providing valuable content, and sending them relevant offers.

I have finally decided it is time to stop buying every magic button software out there on Clickbank, and start doing what people on here have been advising for years: Find an evergreen market, build a list, and send that list offers forever.

I have finally learned my lesson.

    Building your own list and audience is the best, most profitable way to MMO, even if it takes longer than other methods.

  • I too am addicted to buying new products. I am actually making a nice living anyway but I like to see what's new, what's going on and what new streams I can add to my business.

    Kudos on making 36k in three weeks. How come you can't do the same thing again? Rules on Adwords changed?

    • It happens to a lot of us. The thing is, the shiny object are always going to be there. There will always be some new tactic or loophole that you will feel like chasing. You just have to focus on the fundamentals and one thing at a time until you get to where you want to go.

      Sounds like you got things figured out.
  • I completely understand those suffering from S.O.S, however if you found a system that worked so well, I don't understand how you were able to be distracted. I thought S.O.S only affected those who failed at making much cash with one system so moved on to the next thing and the next and the next.

    I hope that you are able to find a cure and regain and repeat your previous success.
