INTERNET MARKETING

I've been using IrfanView free software to resize my images before uploading them on my sites but I was wondering if someone knows a more friendly user software?

I use paint.net

There are several online sites that will do the job too. I often recommend fotoflexer.com to my clients.

I have used Free Online Picture Resizer - Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE! in the past and found it does what it says on the tin (for free).

For windows xp - Microsoft power toys image resizer

For windows 7 - someone ported the power toys image resizer to windows 7, just do a google search for it.

I generally use FastStone Capture, mainly because it's fast and sites in the background, waiting to do a screen grab. There's also a very quick resize option with a lot of preset sizes.

The likes of Paint are fine, but the time saving with a better tool made it worth spending a few dollars to me.

You might want to strip some of the pixel's out of your images too for faster loading when your customers or client's customer have a slower internet speed.

I have used: JPEG OPT at xat.com JPEG Optimizer, JPEG Compression Viewer Compressor Optimiser Software Download and it has worked great. It does bulk or one at a time .. nice little piece of software.

  I also use Irfanview but for resizing I use Easy Thumbnails which will resize individual images in various formats to whatever size you like.
  
  It will also do batches of them using drop down menus - it gives the new file a suffix or prefix (which you can select ) so that your original image is safe.

I used Paint Editor.

You can do a Google search and then see if you can download into your PC.

Then upon doing so, simply right click the image and then select Edit.

This will bring you into the software interface and you can rotate and resize the image whichever you want.
