i want to understand the diffrence betweem pc site and mobile site.
lets say a business have a big regular site blog / store
they whant also mobile site - Exposed for mobile users.

should they build big mobile site or small one with few pages?
will they need another domain for that?

I have a developer's license for WP Touch Pro. It's a Wordpress plugin. If the site is Wordpress, that's the way I would go. No second domain needed and the plugin automatically converts each page for mobile viewing. Once it's installed, forget it. Every time you add new content, the mobile site is also updated. Techcrunch uses it. So do I.

When someone accesses your regular site by mobile phone, if you don't have a mobile site, they're most likely to leave as it is hard to navigate a regular site on mobile phone. There's a redirect script that detects when it is being accessed via mobile phone and then serves the mobile version if you have one.

WP Touch Pro does all that automatically, but if you have an html site, you need a mobile version of it in html.
