So I bought Kneb Knebaih " Public Domain Secrets and since I can only post in a few spots.

How do you work around the duplicate content? Most everything I find in Project Gutenberg (for one example) won't pass plagarism detect or copyscape.

I notice Kneb implying that he just "copied and paste"

For Public Domain material, the copyright has expired or the material has been made freely available to the public so there is no plagiarism.

Duplicate content doesn't apply here and isn't something to worry about.
Of course it's not going to pass copyscape as public domain materials are owned by the public and may be used by many people.

Lots of info and definitions of public domain can be found by searching google for "what is public domain" (without quotes).

Here is a good page to help you understand what Plagiarism is and how you can avoid it even if you are publishing PD source materials verbatim:

Plagiarism.org : Learning Center : Plagiarism Definitions, Tips on avoiding Plagiarism, Guidelines for proper citation, & Help Indentifying Plagairism

Legally when a work is in the Public Domain you CAN just copy and paste. You can do whatever you want with it.

Thanks everyone. Sorry for the incorrect title. It was Way past by bedtime when I posted this and I was practically brain dead.

My concern was duplicate content. Although, when I checked some of the content for plagiarism the results showed only one source...Gutenberg
