Copying my Site

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello Warriors,

Hope everyone is doing fine.

I maybe paranoid or something but do you think this site.

Their whois also points to the location we are in, so maybe they are a local competitor, but copying my prices, my tagline "Hire your Virtual Starting $300 per month..."(word for word, lol), the keywords I am targetting, the softwares I have and everything else.

Do you think they are copying my services?, I am in for a competition but copying my services, I think is not even good nor fair. :-)

We can't tell unless otherwise there is a proof that will support our theory...

I have several copying my site and my services almost verbatim to also include using the same backlinks in some cases. It is frustrating to say the least, but I dont think there is anything you can do about it except to be even better than them at what you do.

Yeah maybe they are. If it was plagerism you could file a DMCA report with their webhost, however it doesn't look like they copied much.

Ultimately they can offer whatever services they want. It's just like McDonalds complaining that Burger King is selling Burgers and fries.

All SEO companies offer the same basic things.

  Unfortunately there is no regulations unless they have been using information verbatim. As you know many people spy on their competition in order to compete. It's a dog eat dog world out there in the IM world and unfortunately we are wearing milk bone underwear. (ah Cheers)

You could really "mess" with them - change your price, lower it by a penny - or something like that... see if they follow

Thanks for all those who replied. I think the best way we could do is make our services better, offer more in our packages, and make our customer service better :-)

Competition does make things better, it's very frustrating at first but come to think of it, it's a blessing in disguise because they will make us a better company.

If their blog was more readable than white text on a white background, I would think they have a better looking site.

I have a couple of courses that teach the tactic of surplanting ranking sites. The idea is to find a site you can outrank, take their keywords, build a similar (not copyright infringed duplicate), make it better and backlink your site to the higher ranking.

Eventually, anyone looking for the target site will find the new site ranked above it.
