My IP is banned

I haven't seen that message...You have any browser accelerator plugins or something? Possibly something that may open too many concurrent connections to the site and it may look at it as flooding and do a temp ban?

  Only had my gmail and the forum open. Went to add someone as a friend and was told I couldn't, because my IP was banned. Close down the browser, read about 2 posts, was about to read on Allen wrote and got the same message again.

  Hmm...if your not using any type of accelerator for your browser that opens multiple connections...then all I can think of is you must be one of those asian hackers I read about muhahaha.... lol

  I had a similar problem about 4 months ago with a forum and it was sporadic. I finally figured out how to changed my router ip...haven't had any problems since that time.

Hi Bev,

please try again, I think the IP Ban problem should be fixed now. There was an issue with the IP address range in the ban options and I assume your IP was within that range.
