Do a search for Ron Douglas or Willie Crawford.

That will give you a pretty good idea of how profitable that niche is.

willie crawford (a great old school marketer) has made some great money over the years in the cooking niche.

i know he has some cookbooks of his own. i would be willing to bet he has a list in this niche you could signup for and see how he monetizes his list in this niche.

If you can't get anything niche-targeted selling for you then you might want to think of the demographic of visitors to your site and sell them mass market offers you think they'd like.

For example... I'm not in your niche so this is a wild guess... but I assume most people who visit your site are women.

Probably women above the age of 18.

Probably even in their late 20s to elderly (pulling this out of my butt).

Maybe they'll respond to something like a CPA offer you can find at Market Health... teeth whitening trial offer, weight loss product trial offer, etc... these offers can pay out big and these product vendors DON'T PLAY--they know how to convert traffic.

Maybe you can use those free offers about Restaurant Coupons, Grocery and foods in general? What do you think?

If you want to sell something, build a pre-sell page on your main websites that redirect your visitor to the sell page. It helps to improve desire on your potential customer.

Rough Outline

Anything food related will sell well, these people are obviously keen cooks.

Send them an email with a free recipe, make sure it's a recipe that requires an expensive food processor, use an amazon affiliate link to send them to the food processor, you can rinse and repeat that with new recipes.

Or just recommend some recipe books, again you can use amazon affiliates or clickbank. But there are thousands of ways to monetise a list in the cooking niche.

You could do a little research on your target market, then put together a little report on the 10 best tips for cooking and spices or whatever and then format it to be a PDF and then sell it to them. A very big lesson to keep in mind is that if you study your target audience and know precisely what they want then you basically control their wallets =)
