I had a customer purchase my program last week and immediately emailed me claiming they didn't get access.

This was in the middle of the night for me, so I didn't see it until the next morning. By this time he had emailed me several times starting less than 1 hour after the initial email and opened a support ticket as well.

He even contacted Clickbank.

So, I emailed him back and apologized and told him his account was created and he was supposed to have gotten and email telling him that, so I gave him his instructions.

Well, he logged into his account that day.

The following day... the same thing happens again. He emails me a bunch and Clickbank emails me about him actually calling them. So, I email him back again.

The following day he purchases another product from me... and the has bee pulling the same crap every day since then. Every morning I wake up and see his emails and then during the day I get Clickbank's emails about him contacting them.

Is he just REALLY confused or is he trying to get me in trouble with Clickbank?

It almost seems like he is trying to get you in trouble. I bought one of your products, and you were very helpful and fast in response. I think some people don't understand that marketers need sleep as well. Have you contacted ClickBank and told them you replied and set him up with everything? Other then that I have no idea what could be going on, but good luck Matthew! -Matt D.

Sometimes in business we need to fire our own customers.
Find out his ip address or information, and ba him from the purchase of your products.

Is his money spent worth the aggravation you are preaching here?

The biggest asset to your business is your customer value, and with a customer like this you can not expect to upsell more products to him, with out complete annoyance.

Completely agree! And in this case - it could be more than just aggravation. Sounds like the guy is on a 'mission' and it is not a good one!

I agree with Steve. With my own business, depending on how aggressive / rude the customer is, I generally give a 3 strikes-and-you're-out rule. I always go out of my way to please the customer, but in your specific situation it seems like they are either extremely high maintenance or trying to get you busted (wouldn't surprise me if it was a competitor either - they've been known to do stuff like this). Either way it seems like a good time to offer a refund and have them go on their merry way.

yes, in the past I've had to "fire" clients. Sometimes the money is just not worth the aggravation of dealing with a person like that.

Just make sure you keep all correspondence from him indefinitely. Also, it might not hurt to forward the correspondence to Clickbank so that they know you are doing your best to provide customer service. Chances are they are familiar with troublemakers of his sort, though.

    Good Luck!
