POLL: What time of the day do you BUY??

I know this question probably isn't something that most people consciously think about when they are purchasing, but i'm thinking that most of us have buying patterns that we may or may not be aware of.

... In attempts to get at the core of our "circadian" purchasing rhythms, think back a little bit of the last few things you have purchased here on the warrior forum. Maybe we can all leave here with a little bit of insight into the warrior.

  • Usually in the evening, unless I have nothing to do that day, then in the morning.
  • Is evening afternoon? I picked evening because I don't get going till about noon, so later afternoon is when I do all my work and everything else.
  • Evening for me also. If I buy something I want to be able to go through my purchase that same day if possible.

    If I buy it in the evening it gives me time to go through it before I hit the hay at 4 am lol

  • Late evening for me just before dark. I have eaten dinner, decompressed a bit and family is settling down and I most likely have had a nice IPA and in relaxed mode where I do my research and purchase if need be.

    • Mmm IPA ... i'm a big fan of Flying Dog's Double Dog Double Pale Ale.

  • I'm too busy during the day so I do the shopping in the evening when there is more time to browse and peruse the products...

  • Well, let's see! I have bought as early as 12m, and as late as 11:59PM. Around 11:40PM today I bought something. But since 12M is in another 13 minutes, and so is 11P, 10P,9P, etc.... And today is not even necessarily today, why would you ask? I mean if you ran a B&M store THEN it MIGHT make sense! Of course, there IS a famous store here that started out selling ICE. They decided to open at 7am and close at 11PM. They decided that was no good. They even named the store 7-eleven!!!! So NOW they are open 7am-6:59:59am! YEP, 24 hours Fast, convenient. 7-Eleven®. Oh thank Heaven®.

    • Hey Steve, Just curious ... things like this can play into launch timings etc ... thanks for your input.

  • I would do it at night so i can study the product at night. This helps me to avoid getting distracted from my daily task and then check out the new product tonight once I am done with my todo list...
  • I think I am the only person that likes to buy in the morning ... I prefer the morning so it gives me the rest of the day to review and integrate.
