Best Company Selling SSL Certificates?

The thread title says it all

Looking to buy an SSL Certificate - cheaply I may add, don't want to break the bank on it!

And this is for an ecommerce site, that accepts payments through PayPal & credit cards as well through a PP merchant account.

What have your experiences been, whose the best company to go with?

I've only used Comodo through Namecheap but here's a thread with more varied options:

I've always just used GoDaddy for SSL certificates. They are super cheap & work just fine.

You can get a GoDaddy SSL cert for $12.99 a year here. Then there are great step-by-step instructions for installing it on this article. The instructions are written for installing the SSL on a HostGator hosting account, but they could apply to just about any common web host with a bit of creativity on your part.

Let me know if you need additional help, I'd be happy to help you out!

I think GoDaddy for $12.00 is the one to get (it's on sale - on their site I found it also listed for $69.99 so make sure you get the link to the sale price)

I just went through this with JustHost.com hosting.

You have to have a dedicated IP which you get from you existing hosting company.

Ask them for their instructions for installing it. This apparently changes depending on your hosting account.

Now, I could do it in a total of probably 30 minutes or less of actual work time. But knowing what needs to be done is the problem which seems to differ by exact hosting account and the company you are getting it through.

HostGator will install a third party certificate for a $10 fee or if you buy theirs for $50 they will install it for free.

Check the price for a dedicated IP from you hosting company also.

      Good luck.
