hello is joining ezine articles and digg and places like that a good way to get your website noticed and links for affiliate marketing im just starting out and just wanted abit of help

    Well... Ezine articles can be good, but if you are a newbie I wouldn't start there. Learn SEO (keyword research and backlinking)

    Article directories probably give much greater seo benefit than social bookmarking sites, you ability to quickly write articles is probably a big factor in deciding whether to do article sit thing, it's more important to add content to your own sit on a regular basis.

    There are online social bookmarking services that speed the process of bookmarking on several sites.

    It's important to have a mixture of backlink sources in order to not stand out as a google cheater.

    Just some added advise. If you are using Wordpress there are plenty of cool plugins floating around that will help send traffic to your site everytime you make a post or change a page.

    I know that you were asking about articles, but Webapex is right. You can get plugins to help you with backlinking and SEO, but you definitely need to keep posting freash content to your site. Use Tags, and Anchor text to link the pages of your Blog together to create an internal link wheel. Google loves this kind of stuff.
