Say you wanted the business names and phone numbers of all the businesses that show up in the results for a specific google search.

Would it be possible to get that kind of information by using Mturk. If so how would you stop more than one worker from getting informaton on the same business.

Thanks Rmx

Having done work on mturk..... the work order goes out to one person at a time and then if it is not completed it is sent back.

However if you get two orders out there for the work to be done...... you can collect the results and then offload it to another worker who will delete the duplicates... make sense? Not as through it is going to cost you anything like it does on fiverr!

That sounds more like a data entry job for someone from fiver or odesk. Plus you're going want a single person doing the job, not a bunch of different people.

Thats what I was thinking also. I've heard other people use mturk for data mining but I'm not sure how they do it.
