Twitter has been completely wonky all day. For a long time they weren't updating at all. Apparently that happened to some people yesterday as well. Hope they fix it soon.

It's back up now. That was weird. I tried a couple of different URLs.

Me too! Oh well - I think that's a sign for me to go to sleep right about now!

I suppose that it's just a testament to how popular Twitter has become.

How do you get "dependent"? Sounds scary

I don't know, started out normal, then couldn't stop going on Twitter. I need Twitter methadone.

Can someone tell me why twitter suspended two of my accounts for "suspicious" activity when I never tweeted once. I simply followed a few folks and that was it...

A few days later "ACCOUNT SUSPENDED" Please get down on the ground with your palms facing down...(not really that dramatic)

No tweets, only about 20 followers and followings... No clue..

    Any one have a guess?

    Thanks in advance

Well, just a thought - how many accounts did you have? Perhaps they saw you creating multiple accounts from the same address and thought the activity was spam like.

Well, there are 3 total and 2 they have suspended.

The 2 that are suspended have only a small amount of followers and followings...

The one that has 700 followers since Sunday night, thanks to your book, has not been bothered.

        Does that help?

        Thanks,

That is quite odd. If I were you I would email Twitter and ask. I don't think it's against their TOS to have more than one account, although if you created dozens or hundreds, THAT I could see as a red flag.

Possible thoughts - if all your tweets just had links in them, someone might have complained. Twitter tends to flag accounts that get complaints.

Ditto if you link to a sales page of some type.

Yeah, it is acting funny for me too.

The feed is running behind about 15 minutes or so. I heard it was doing that yesterday as well, but I missed it when it was. They are growing very fast rught now and I am sure there will be some trouble along the way.

That's the trouble with success, you have to manage the growth. I guess it is a good problem to have, It just gets annoying to the users while it happens.
