Newbie Question: How do you get your blog posts higher in google?

INTERNET MARKETING

According to webmaster tools my site is appearing in the top 5 pages of google for several keyword phrases. This after three weeks.

How do I get these already indexed and social bookmarked posts higher in the rankings?

Try checking your on-page seo. I know from personal experience that there are simple things that don't seem to do a lot anymore that should be looked at.
