Better Browser for Internet Marketers...

I switched to Firefox because of several Addons which are helpful for my IM business. Google Chrome is now providing some exciting extensions and Addons.

Do you recommend changing to Google Chrome?

Any one still using Internet Explorer?

I personally use Chrome and Firefox but leaning towards chrome. I think the add ons for these browser are great for IM purposes. I actually find the add ons useful and it has helped me doing IM in many ways.

    Cheers.

I have moved over to chrome for most things. I find it faster and easier.

Firefox has far too many updates that cause problems with programs I have installed on my laptop. e.g. roboform.

      Hi Giani

I agree with salamony86 I run both browsers, but this is in response to problems with Chrome crashing from time to time. As for running plugins I find both browsers adequate for running the likes of SEO Quake and Woo Rank.

As for Internet Explorer I tend to stay clear of it for now, although according to a lot a tech sites they say IE has certainly caught up again with the competition if not quite matching them yet for security and resource management.

Overall I say stick with both and you can't go wrong.

I quite agree with Kenj, firefox has become a bit of a pain for updates. I see the reasons it necessary, but seriously, a new beta version every 6 weeks?

Well in response to your OP, I have Firefox, Chrome, IE and Opera installed. I think these 4 are necessary for quality checks so that you know your pages are clear and acurate on all 4.

I like to use Firefox, but recently if you update Firefox, then you do not have the plugin to check for no/dofollow links. So I have to keep Firefox so it is not update to the point of being a little bit of a pain. Google Chrome is great, but does anyone know where the plugin may be to check for no/dofollow links?

I use a combination of Chrome and Firefox, they both have useful plugins. I'm also too lazy to check if certain plugins have been crossed over to one another, so maybe you can just use one.

For firefox, I like the showip plugin, and the PA and DA bar that I have
For chrome, I like the PR, and overall I just enjoy chrome more

      I use Internet Explorer...

Only kidding. That's a conversation for another thread.

As a developer I primarily use Firefox and Chrome. They both have great web development plugins/addons/extensions. I do check all of my work across multiple browsers and recommend you do the same.

A great free tool for doing this quickly is Adobe Browser Labs. I have found that Safari is sometimes quicker at processing video stuff.

Here's another great tool. Check this out in different browsers: YooouuuTuuube (no affiliate link)

Select any video of your choosing and select "Start in Flux". Let her rip and compare the way browser perform with video.

Also, a little tip for kenj

Firefox has far too many updates that cause problems with programs I have installed on my laptop. e.g. roboform.
If you're on a PC, roboform is probably your best option. But if you're on a Mac, I made the switch to 1Password about 9 months ago and have been loving it ever since.

I swear by Google Chrome. It is fast. Damn fast. Faster than any other browser I have used in a really long time. I'm sure Firefox has its users, and I only use it when I need to run SEOquake.

I like FF although it can bugger up from time to time but I still like their tabbed browsing more than IE. I still use IE a lot but FF is my browser of choice. I do like that when it crashes or when you kill it, you can reopen and it gives you the ability to restore sessions.

At first, I was using Firefox because it has great add-ons and it was the browser that my friend advises me to use for my Internet Marketing Business. But lately, with the updates and latest versions of Firefox, there are plug-ins that are not functioning and it kind of infuriated me since my browser at times, crashes and I have to re-format my computer.
Since that time, I switched to Chrome and I find it convenient and is faster and reliable than the other browser. Chrome doesn't have as many plug-INS as Firefox, but I really like using chrome up until now.

As a web developer, I consider using these browsers:

    Internet Explorer
    Mozilla Firefox
    Google Chrome
    Safari
    Opera

Sometimes, these browsers interpret codes differently so I need to adjust my codes to be more flexible and that the sites that I have created will look similar when viewed to these browsers.

But if I have to choose, I go for Chrome. This browser loads so fast.

    Thanks,
    Louie Tugas

I choose chrome. The load speeds are great, even with add ons. FF is losing their way with a ll the updates and plugins slowing it up. They need to go back to their old school roots and lighten it up.
