Are You Using Images In You WSO?

A lot of times I access the Warrior Forum using my Smart phone, but until tonight I was frustrated with the problem of reading some of the comments posted, or testimonials that were turned into images.

If people come onto the WF with their mobiles and can't read the text from those images, then I bet those Warriors are losing sales.

Well tonight I decided to go through each browser on my phone to see if there was a solution and there is. Opera Mobile! At last I can see! Not so dramatic but it does help.

What do you think Warriors?

    Ooh, I didn't know mobile users could not see the text in images if you use them in your WSO! Nice to learn that little tidbit because I've done that before. Making a note to avoid that in the future, since more and more people are browsing from their phones.

      Are that many people really using their phones to browse the forum?

      We have been employing more images in WSO's, b/c it helps us present the available content in a much more attractive way.

      Perhaps a better question would be whether ditching the images in the WSO will pick up enough mobile users to offset the number of people we would be losing by losing the image in the WSO?

      Such a quandary...

    I browse the WF 50 to 60% of the time on my droid. Droids have no problem with images. I guess OP is talking about Internet enhanced regular phones. However, then how would you get another browser? Maybe I'm wrong about what the OP meant. Anyway, no problem on Droid or iPhone no matter what browser I use.

    I personally never browse forums on my phone, I find it too slow and frustrating. I mostly just check my stats.

    Also, if I were looking at WSOs to buy, I wouldn't want to log into PayPal on my phone because as dumb as it might sound I worry about people getting my info when I do it over the phone as opposed to my wired broadband.

    I have WSO's that are completely made up of images and I don't think I'll be changing anytime soon. I don't see any need. What phone are you using that is having problems displaying images? I own several of the more popular smartphones and they all load images perfectly.

    I have just one WSO, and very less images, that too only for testimonials.

    Other than that, I think Images will make a thread look good, and nice, and clean for those on a Desktop or lappy.
