HELP Needed !!! Newbie Information overload

Recently i discovered i had information overload as I listened to tele-seminar
Good enough I happened to have get one solution which is reducing the number of sites i subscribe to.
Okay with that I think they are many ways to skin a cat, probably if you have faced the same problem ... How did you go about it ?

Stopping some newsletters is a good start...

Try to focus on one task at a time, don't let the latest product launch take you off course...

Throw away everything that is useless and focus on the essential.

keep things simple and go slowly and you are on the right path

'less is more' - I know this sounds kind of counter intuative but less is more... Keep it simple, cut out all the fluff and JUST DO what works for you
