How Do I Build My List Fast?

Hey everyone i have a list problem that needs fixing.

I need to build my email list fast and i was wondering what were the best techniques for doing so.i am writing 1 article a day and works well but is slow.I have heard of adswaps and WSO to build my list.I am aiming for 1,000 minimum in the next 2 months.I have around 60 so far.Any great techniques that you use that you can help me out.I prefer free ways if possible.

    I got my first 1000 subscribers by buying solo ads... very fast - but it does cost money...

    You can start with solo ads or ppc traffic but try to focus on quality and relationship with your list for better results .

    Focus on getting traffic to your opt in pages, while at the same time increase the money spent by your purchasing buyers

      What Brad said...

      You don't want just a list. You want a list of buyers.

      Do what others have done successfully.

      Create a valuable product and sell it at a low, low price. The product must be something you could sell for much more money.

      The WSO forum is going great; so sell it there, if it's an IM list you're creating.

      If your list isn't IM-related, find related forums, and promote your new low-priced product there. (Subtly, of course.)

      Tip: before you sell the product, create an upsell. A portion of your buyers will buy the upsell.

      Hey presto, you now have a list of buyers. :-)

        Angela99 offers the best advice; you want a list of buyers. Don't fall into the trap of giving away freebies to build your list, as then you'll have a list full of freebie seekers.

        I've found that offering a quality product in the WSO section works best for me if it's IM related.

    Great advice everyone. I just finished creating a 30 page free report I was going to give away to build my list. It contains 2 upsells but I'm thinking maybe I need to sell it. Even if it's for $1

    In a perfect internet marketing world, we as IM would love an exclusive list of buyers. The fact is most buyers will be on other marketers list. This is competition as you can clearly see 2 to 4 gas stations on every busy intersection. They all still make money.

    My point is even if they're freebie seekers, they are still targeted. Now your job is to have outstanding email and sale copy along with an outstanding product or service. Better yet have an outstanding funnel and you will convert some of the freebie seekers into buyers.

    Look at it this way, 10 out of 100 is better than 0 out of 0.
