Selling some offline domain names - on WF or Flippa?

I have a list of 15 offline type domains for my area (Atlanta) that I want to sell. One is an actual website. The other 14 are domains. Would you recommend selling them in the site section of WF or on Flippa?

The WF buyers will pay top dollar for an established website with Google Adsense revenue.

Otherwise, you would probably get a better deal on Flippa.

It can be extremely difficult to sell 'localised' domain names to anyone outside that area.

In my opinion, you would be best off sticking a simple lead capture page on all of the domain names and sell them as 'complete websites' (as there is a much bigger market).

Then you can either list them on Flippa and sell them based on 'potential', or spend a little time ranking them for some keywords, generating revenue etc

You could also contact any local businesses that might be interested in purchasing the websites.

    Good luck!

Whatever you do, don't use PayPal to sell a domain or a site. I've heard too many horror stories about these types of sales being reversed and it even happened to a good friend of mine. The buyers get their money back but the sellers get nothing. I mostly really like Paypal but not for something like this.

@highrank- Thanks for the advice. I wish I had time to create sites for each, but I need to generate a little extra income for my children's curriculum now. I can't use these sites right now, so I will probably give it a try.

@Rich- That can definitely be true. I use Escrow.com for bigger stuff, and thankfully have not had any major Paypal issues with the smaller stuff.... yet.
