Best PAD Submitter?

by Scott Million 36 replies
I've got several softwares ready to go to promote some of my websites and affiliate offers. I am wondering what the best bang-for-your-buck method is to get the most traffic/downloads.

I'd rather go with a 'pay one time only' software than a per-submit or monthly subscription.

I can't tell you if it's the best because it's the only one I've used, but I use PromoSoft and I am happy with it. You can submit to hundreds of sites automatically after you set up your pad file.

How long has it taken you to see results using this? I'm wondering if there is a way to measure how quickly the sites post it and how many downloads I'm getting overall.

        Any suggestions?

I notice a little spike in traffic pretty quickly, just a few days. Some traffic comes directly from the software submission sites themselves. It takes a little longer to notice actual backlinks (I search yahoo using link:www .yourdomain.com)

Just yesterday I received an email from a software site that my software had been approved and listed on their site and this was from a submission I did back in May. So some of the software sites are quick to post your submission, even instant, and others take their sweet time but I still think it's a great and pretty easy way to get some backlinks.

PadBot by Big Mike is popular and cheap at only $19.95.

Some of the other ones cost a couple hundred.

Starts at $52 per month or $535 for a lifetime license; so you need to be sure that you can get a good ROI.

                    Well, that's true.

But...the program stays in constint Demo mode. Which means that you can submitt to at least 130 directories free. If you pay for a one month license it will cost you 52 bucks, which is non-reoccuring, to access all 5900+ resources.

                    Here's what I do...

I use the pad submitter, in free mode, to test the waters with my offer(s). If I get enough activity on a file then I will save it for mass submitting.

When I have identified at least 4 to 5 files that show enough activity in downloads...Then I purchase a one month license at 52 bucks and take the most popular files for mass sateration.

Once the licensing period is up...the software automatically goes back to the demo mode.

                    Rinse and Repeat.

little tip: I have done this because I'm quite often strapped for cash too. I will submit other people pad file as a mini service to recover my costs of the one month licensing.

Debra, this is great. I will definitely follow your steps.

One Q, how do you measure the activity? (affiliate sales? traffic to your website? ...or some metric that shows how many downloads on the sites you've submitted to?)

                      Thanks a million

Well...it depends on what I want out of what I'm offering.

If it's software program sales. I submit a limited free trial. You will get an obsurb amount of downloads but, since I would be after the sales of the software program, I track the number of conversions from the trial.

In other words, I'm not satisfied about taking it to the next level unless the trail downloads have converted into full version sales.

How many is enough? Whatever number you are comfortable with.

That way if your software doesn't convert into full version sales you can take the proper steps to find out why before you go to the mainstream marketplace with it.

As far as montoring the traffic. The only time that would play a role is to manipulate something like Alexa or to con some unknowing newbie that my stats were a lot better than what they normally would be(which I don't do cuz I simply don't have time for immature games).

If your doing it for affiliate sales or CPA sales, there's a slighty different setup than what your doing it for. You have to add a step.

In any of the cases, take up on the little tip I left. Farm yourself out for the costs after you figure out from your stats what will work the best for you.

BTW - You can get those that will hire you to submit thier file too from Craigslist...they will pay better than DP.

Thanks Deb. I am focusing on shareware/freeware that requires a user to opt-in to get the activiation code and there are several affiliate offers in the software itself... it promotes traffic to my websites, affiliate offers, and increases opt-ins...

Thanks for everyone's input. I've got plenty to test!

I was looking at this one and didn't see the number it submitted to.

Could you tell me what kind of results you are getting?

      Thank you.

I am looking at the pad submit worker presently.

I've just purchased a download that shows me how to use PAD files (creation etc.) and submit them for free to get backlinks, and these backlinks can become reciprocal. The Pad submitter they suggest is Pad Submit Worker, which costs $50.00. It apparently downloads to thousands of sites (of course not all are accepted), but from the demonstration they provided you can get results in 48 hours for some, with others taking sometimes weeks to click. Has anyone heard of this Pad Submit Worker site?

I use Pad Submit Worker and generally I get a 51.05% success rate...

I have also used the free version of robosoft. It seems like I get a higher success rate with robosoft...

Does anyone know which software submits to more high PR sites?...

That can make a HUGE difference...

Looking forward to hearing from you...

The ones that I use seemed to be the best.

    PadBot by BigMike
    PadExpress

PadBot is less expensive and it submits to 112 and PadExpress is a lot more expensive but it submits to hundreds of software portal sites. Both of them are very good.

I have bveen using Pad Submit Worker. I don't know if it is the best or not as it is the only one I have used. Bottom line though, it has worked pretty good for me. Cost me about $50. I will typically get around 300 successful submissions per run, which is better than I ever do with article submissions.

I recommend a software submitter called "ksnipe software submitter". It may be not the best but i think it's worth to try. Since ksnipe software submitter has many functions, it can identify many kinds of captchas automatically, and the price is not expensive. You can try it.

Wow. This thread has been around for over five years (since 2008). Guess it proves there's still a market for PAD submission software. Some of the submitters mentioned have gone the way of the dinosaur. (Thank goodness Warrior Forum is still around; some things never change.

Anyone know of a reliable PAD submission service provider?
