Question About YouTube And FTC Disclosure

Hey Guys,
My question is fairly straightforward. I am promoting some of the products that I sell on Youtube, mainly by doing a demonstration of the product. Throughout my video, I talk about the product features/benefits, etc., and at the end of the video I tell people to "click on the link in the description box to see other reviews, learn about the ingredients, etc."

Do I have to inform the Youtube public that I am affiliated with the company in the video, or is the FTC disclosure snippet at the bottom of my site ok?

I do not have any affiliate links in my youtube videos, just links to my site.

    Were you paid to do the review? If so, I believe you have to disclose that.

    Did you receive a free gift to do the review? If so, I think you have to disclose that as well.

    If someone provided you the product for review, just say in the video, "company name supplied the product for this review".

    Better safe then sorry.

      Agreed. I was not paid to do the review, the products were provided to me by the company. I didn't receive any compensation from them to do the review, but of course if someone buys the product through my affiliate links (on my site) then I earn the commission.

      Instead of redoing these videos, do you think it would be ok to just include the disclosure in the description box?

        I have a disclosure page on my blog that details "how" I disclose when I receive an item for free to do a review.

        Maybe add a disclosure page to your blog, and then add a link to the video description going to that page.

        If you write an article and you need to disclose something about the item, include a link to your disclosure page.
