Is there any way to launch a WSO that's been designed 2 different ways and split test that? Surely the forum has it's tabs on members and the information is available, but is there a service or something that can be paid for to do this?

I intend to offer a service in the near future, and that kind of statistic/info would be a factor I'd have to take into account for what I'm doing. I'm still new here so I'm not sure if I can reply/discuss through them, but PMs would be appreciated if it's regarding what I'm workin' on.

Otherwise, thoughts?

the only way really to do that is by presenting your offer only in images, and rotate images through a php script on your server that converts images into php output

The only to do that inside the forum is to pay for two separate WSO threads, but they'd both be visible to everyone so that wouldn't really be a split-test...

The only thing I can think of is to make your actual WSO thread a kind of pre-sell page, and then have people click on a link to go to the actual sales page (which you'd have to host yourself). You could set that up to alternate between your two versions.

You'd risk losing sales, though, by forcing everyone to go through an extra step to get to the sales page.

Or your WSO can just give something away free in exchange for an opt-in -- then when people opt-in you can redirect them automatically to one or the other OTO page.

    Ken,
    Don't feel bad.
Just swap the white wire with the orange wire and it will all be good in the future.

    Have a Great Day!

Split test parts of it, one bump at a time. I've bumped my WSO 4 times plus a banner ad and tested something different each time and have found the right combination for my marketing message.

It will be different for each WSO and each offer but now I know which is converting the best for my offer.

Once I nailed down the Subject line; headline; video; call to action and the guarantee I started testing my signature.

Now I have an offer that converts and can take that to other marketers individually and offer them a much higher commission from my website.

Bear in mind this is NOT really an effective way to split test things. In order to split test something properly you need to have only ONE variable. Split testing something in this fashion will have way too many variables for any worthwhile conclusions to be drawn.

Every time you bump your offer there will be an unknown number of people visiting your offer so there is no way to split test in this fashion. You won't know whether the increase in conversions was due to an increase in traffic or something you changed in your offer.

    Yes...you can do this.

There is free software in the War Room that is all setup for this. And we even threw in some basic videos to show you how to set it all up.

It works like gangbusters...even if you just want to test a headline or some part of the copy. Has it's own IP based tracking, though you can even use something like Statcounter for this as well.

Also, keep in mind that image based split testing scripts will also work great on sites like Craigslist and Ebay as well...pretty much any place where you can post pictures (that you host) but cannot post php or javascript code.

In the War Room, it's called Dynamic Image Pro.

    Hope this helps,

seriously ??? that is friggin fantastic ! i was in the middle of creating my own script for exactly that. You just saved me some time. thank you.

side note, i really need to get in there and root around some. every time i go in there tho it just feels like a pitch fest , kind of turns me off.
its good to know something of value is actually in there.

    You are correct.

The script that is in the War Room shows the same ad to the same person no matter how many times they visit the thread.

Without doing this...it's impossible to achieve any statistical significance or to know which one is really the clear winner.
