Get Your Site Indexed in An Hour or Two

Use Clipmarks, it is almost guarenteed that your site will be indexed in a hour or two. I know lots say it's an old site, but it still works and can get you indexed rapidly.

You can also get your site indexed rapidly by putting a link to it in your sig here, and responding to a new thread. It works.

clipmarks can automatically be added to your facebook and other places.

This is from personal experience, I was talking to someone one day about it, and they were wondering how to use it. In the end I got onto skype with them. I have Google open, and did a keyword which didn't show my site up. They then asked me a question and I couldn't remember exactly what the answer was. I did the obvious thing, I went to clipmarks and my profile to tell them the answer. They did a refresh while I was in my profile, remember I was only looking. The only thing I did was log into my account. In about 10 seconds that action was indexed. He was watching it happen. We then went through the process of using the site correctly, and by the end his actions, and his site was in Google.

Digg does a good job and also using the Google keyword tool to find keywords in your webpages.

Thanks Bev - will check it out!

and Easy Cash - I love the Google keyword tool trick - it really works well and I just I'm not logged into my adwords account when you

      1. make sure 'website content' is clicked
      2. you just enter the website url

and voila the site is indexed!

For SEO also helps to submit your google sitemap thru your google webmaster account like Jason mentioned.

Having it as an add on to firefox helps.

The thing is lots of the Web 2.0 sites which are not normally mentioned are great at getting you indexed and on page 1 of Google.

I have 1 site I use, that I always get on page 1 within 24 hours and remain there for months at the top of the page, and that's not for long tailed keywords.

      Thanks for the tip.

I'm always looking out for new sites where one can post/bookmark etc.

One of my favourites is propeller.com

It tends to show up in a day or two.

Another good tip is to create a keyword rich aboutus page. Link to it from your home page and then enter your main website address into the "find" box at aboutus.org

The "find" box is at the top of their home page.

This will then create a quick search of your site and it should find your own aboutus page. These tend to help get your site indexed quickly.

I decided to give this a go and I am happy to report that the site got indexed overnight. I have used Digg successfully on numerous occasions but glad to add one more technique to my list. I also bookmarked the page using Mister Wong and searchle it. So there you go, thanks Bev !
