What is everyone using to embed audio these days?

Lately I've been going crazy with Camtasia and screen capture videos. But now I need to just record some audio and embed it into a page. It's been so long since I've done just an audio. What is the "latest and greatest" way to embed audio?

    I use Audacity (Free at audacity.sourceforge.net) and an Audio Technica mic through an Alesis usb multi mix for recording (good prices at guitarcenter.com/)

    To embed I use Josh Andersons' totalwebaudio.com/ - excellent stuff.
