FAQS will make you look smart

In the red toolbar on this page you will see a link to the FAQ section. Check it out. If there's something here you can't figure out - the answer is probably there.

Need to know how to embed a video....add an image....create a payment link...use the search function...and a lot of other neat things?

Thomas (the amazing person who manages the help desk among other things) has everything up to date to help you navigate and use the forum features.
Very helpful!

    Kay,

At first, I thought you were going to say something about all of those folks in the WSO forum that reserve the first post for FAQs but never have anything there

      , I dig that!

I also thought in the line of why it is necessary to have the faq on one's site.

Maybe we should introduce a checkbox saying [ ] I read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) before you can post anything.

This could be removed once you've got more than 10 posts

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Yeah but if we all checked that 'read FAQ' box... how would newbies bump their post count?

Moreover, how would WE bump our post count without answering newbie questions?

    - Incidentally yeah, I thought it'd be FAQ advice too.

In my opinion, you just stick in all those objections you haven't quite managed to fit in in your sales copy (if you've got sales copy) and reframe the answers to make your product look like the best option ever.

Better yet, actively exclude certain types of buyers (Q: Is this push button? A: Hell no... you gotta WORK at this, but if you put in 10 hours a week you'll have $5,000 a month... something like that) then you should be able to lower refund rates as well...

    Just thoughts... just thoughts...

Reading the faqs on this forum encourages people to boost their post count. I tried to send a pm and could not since i do not have 50 posts yet. This makes new people like me ask questions in public that would be better asked by pm.

I get your point about people asking questions that have already been answered a dozen times. The OP gets annoyed at it but does not bother to use the faq box that he reserved for faqs.
